The Community Foundation «Podilska Hromada» has received grant funding as part of the «People for People» competition from the NGO «ISAR Ednannia» and is launching the «Safety and Resilience of Housing Associations» project. It aims to improve the safety of shelters in Vinnytsia and strengthen the capacity of Housing Associations’ chairpersons to act effectively under martial law. The project is being implemented in collaboration with the Department of Housing and the Housing Associations Development Division of Vinnytsia City Council and comprises two interlinked components: the technical upgrading of shelters and training for Housing Associations chairpersons.

The Community Foundation «Podilska Hromada», as part of the «Accessible Courtyards» mini-grant competition, presented certificates to ten winners. The winners were the following condominium associations in Vinnytsia: «Keletska, 78A», «Antonova-20», «Antonova-22», «Pokryshkina 8G/3», «Svobody-1», «Podolyanka-8», «Yunosti 22», «Pirogova, 144», «Bratslavska-1», and «Pirogova, 148». This means that ramps, handrails, and barrier-free routes from the building entrance to the street will soon appear in their courtyards — solutions that will help residents feel more comfortable in their own spaces. 

The Community Foundation "Podilska Hromada" in collaboration with the Vinnytsia City Council, the Department of Municipal Services, and "Vinnytsiaoblvodokanal" has completed the installation of 13 new fire hydrants manufactured by the Austrian company Hawle. They were installed near schools, kindergartens, hospitals and in areas with high foot traffic as part of the project, which is being implemented by the Community Foundation "Podilska Hromada" with support from the Askold and Dir Foundation, administered by ISAR Ednannia, as part of the "A Strong Civil Society in Ukraine — A Driving Force for Reforms and Democracy" project funded by Norway and Sweden.

Accessibility in the community begins not only with public spaces or central streets, but primarily with places that people see and need every day - their own yards and adjacent territories. This is where the quality of life everywhere is formed, the ability to move safely and feel part of a common space.

The Community Foundation "Podilska Hromada"  is launching a new project titled "Community in Action: Participation Tools for Recovery". Its goal is to strengthen cooperation between the government and the public through the practical exploration and application of participatory tools. The project involves a step-by-step process consisting of several stages — from dialogue to the practical implementation of developed solutions.

The five winners of the eighth iteration of the «Urozhaynyy shlyakh» project received certificates to implement their initiatives and are moving on to the practical phase. Each of them has a clear plan for developing their own farm. As Myroslava Zhylina, the Program Director of the Community Foundation «Podilska Hromada», noted during the certificate presentation, the selection committee evaluated motivation, the justification of expenses, participation in training, and the realism of the planned results; therefore, behind each application lies not just a specific story, but decisions that will help strengthen the financial stability of households as early as this season.
