As of today, 73 mobile and stationary Points of Invincibility operate in Vinnytsia, where, in the absence of electricity, people can warm up, charge their gadgets, have hot drinks, receive first pre-medical aid, etc.
To strengthen the Points of Invincibility and thereby support residents of Vinnytsia and the city’s guests, the Community Foundation “Podilska Hromada” announces the launch of a rapid project competition “Strengthening the Points of Invincibility 2”, which will enable the equipping of 7 Points of Invincibility.
The application deadline is March 2 of the current year.
Officially registered legal entities hosting Points of Invincibility may participate in the competition: SESU (State Emergency Service of Ukraine) units, educational, cultural and sports institutions, libraries, and youth club centers.
The list of eligible expenses is determined by the teams (this may include generators, charging stations, external batteries, large-capacity thermoses, thermo pots, electric kettles, blankets, tableware, etc.).
A mandatory condition is that the Point operates within the territory of the Vinnytsia City Territorial Hromada and provides co-financing of at least UAH 2,000.
Payment of expenses will be carried out by the Community Foundation in accordance with supplier invoices provided by the competition winners, followed by the transfer of purchased items under an acceptance-transfer act.
“Within the framework of the competition, 7 winners will be selected. Each will receive UAH 40,000 provided that co-financing amounts to at least UAH 2,000,” comments Program Director Myroslava Zhylina. “The grant competition includes several stages: collection of proposals until March 2 of the current year, selection of winners, signing of agreements, procurement of goods according to needs, preparation of acceptance-transfer acts, visits to the Points of Invincibility, and reporting. We plan to complete the process in early April.”

In particular, applicants must submit registration documents, provide photos of the Point of Invincibility, describe the activities of the Point, explain the motivation for participation, and clearly and thoroughly formulate the list of expenses. Based on the submitted applications, the конкурсна комісія (Competition Commission) will determine which Points of Invincibility will receive support.
