Corporate volunteering is an effective tool for interaction between businesses and public organizations. The Community Foundation «Podilska Hromada» helps organize corporate social responsibility programs, engage employees in socially important initiatives, and create long-term value for communities.
Examples:
- «Throw in the caps – help your own» campaign, which involves collecting recyclable materials to raise funds to support the Ukrainian army;
- «Roses of Special Purpose» initiative – an initiative to plant roses on the Walk of Fame, which brings together businesses and communities in different parts of Ukraine;
- «The Garden of support» project, planted opposite the Pirogov National Museum-Estate in honor of fallen, captured, and missing defenders, as well as to motivate teams, companies, and simply for the sake of children. The project brought together the community, businesses, and authorities and raised about 90,000 hryvnias, which were used to support the military.
The Vinnytsia Humanitarian Hub was created jointly with the Vinnytsia City Council and businesses at the beginning of the full-scale invasion in the spring of 2022. The Community Foundation «Podilska Hromada» became the coordinator of the Fund, bringing together volunteers from various organizations and fields. The hub's activities include coordinating logistics chains for receiving and sending humanitarian cargo.
Donations to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine also play a key role among the Foundation`s initiatives, which include various charitable initiatives and hundreds of individual contributions from the community and businesses.
