The Community Foundation «Podilska Hromada» announces the launch of a new project «Museum at School». This initiative aims to create interactive thematic museums in educational institutions of the Vinnytsia community. The project's goal is to engage students in learning through interactive exhibitions that will contribute to the development of education, science, and culture.
Within the project, support will be provided to 5 educational institutions that propose the best ideas for creating school museums in the following directions:
Museum of Ukrainian Traditions, Museum of Science, Museum of the Sustainable Development Goals, Medical Museum (with a focus on first aid), and History Museum.
One educational institution can apply for only one lot. One winner will be selected in each of the 5 lots.
Educational institutions of the Vinnytsia community that are ready to develop an idea for an interactive museum according to the proposed themes, fulfill co-financing conditions, and organize excursions, lectures, and other events for students in the new spaces can participate in the competition.
The project timeline includes:
• Application submission: April 8 – 30 (extended).
• Selection of the 5 best ideas: April 30 – May 5.
• Workshop for the winning teams: May 9.
• Refinement of applications: May 9 – 13.
• Signing agreements and receiving funding: by May 16.
• Project implementation: by July 1.
• Submission of reports: by July 8.
Winners will receive financial support from the Foundation in the amount of 60,000 UAH. To participate, it is necessary to provide co-financing: 10,000 UAH as the institution's own contribution (i.e., funds) and 5,000 UAH from the project ambassador. This can be anyone willing to support the project with their own contribution. If the institution independently finds an ambassador, it will receive an additional 5 points to the application evaluation.
Teams submit a simple form describing the project, budget, and justified motivation. The evaluation criteria are simple:
• comprehensive and well-formed project concept,
• justified budget,
• motivation for participation and the value of the project for the target audience.
To apply, it is necessary to fill out the form via this link, describe the idea of the interactive museum, its goal and benefit for the school, provide justification for organizing the interactive space, indicate the co-financing plan, and, if possible, find an ambassador and confirm their contribution.
